Department of Mathematics:
The Department of Mathematics was established in 1982 with the aim of promoting interest in mathematics and supporting students in developing a strong understanding of the subject. The Department of Mathematics focuses on teaching, learning, and basic research in both pure and applied mathematics. It helps students build logical thinking, problem-solving ability, and analytical skills. The department has qualified and experienced faculty members who guide students in academics as well as preparation for competitive examinations such as CSIR NET, GATE, IIT-JAM, UPSC, SSC, banking, and other state-level exams. Through regular classes, seminars, and workshops, the department encourages students to improve their knowledge and prepare for higher studies, teaching, and other career opportunities.
